Designed for comfort and relaxation, the home features marsh-view front porches, a screened side porch, and a spacious primary suite on the main floor -- ideal for couples, families, or small groups. And yes, the primary bath shower may be the best shower you ever take.

The cottage is in Darien, about 30 minutes from the beaches of St. Simons Island and 35 minutes from Jekyll Island. Day trips to either are easy and very popular with guests.

We truly enjoyed our second stay at the Saltmarsh Cottage. Just as when we stayed a couple of years ago, the fresh smell of the home greeted us upon arrival. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We loved the view of the marsh from the side porch. We definitely look forward to returning again soon.

My husband and I recently returned to the Saltmarsh Cottage for a few days of relaxation and to enjoy the great seafood in the area. The cottage is spacious, beautifully decorated in beach decor, and always impeccably clean. Everything is provided to ensure a perfect stay. The views from inside and its porches provide such tranquility! Kevin and Christin are always very responsive and such gracious hosts! This time we had somewhat of an emergency during our stay, and they were so kind to help us work through the situation. We hope to return soon!
